Do you see that line where started the new ball of yarn? My family doesn't. So much for a "quick project that I''ll be wearing before the snow flies" This one is very close to having a "time out" in the basket.

Ugh Marilynn I have felt your pain. :( A time out is a good idea.
Ah, I keep watching you fight with that sweater. Maybe you should try a different yarn or give it a time out. Sometimes you have to face the fact that the pattern and the yarn were just not meant to be together.
